Does the bot guarantee profits?

No. No trading system, automated or manual, can guarantee profits. Trading involves substantial risk and you can lose money, including your entire account balance. OpenFlow Automation is an execution tool — it does not remove market risk.

What platforms are supported?

Platform compatibility is confirmed during onboarding — we verify your platform and account type before anything goes live. Connecting through Topstep requires an active Topstep API subscription ($29/month, charged by Topstep).

Do I need anything else to use OpenFlow Automation with Topstep?

Yes. To connect OpenFlow Automation to a Topstep account, you need an active Topstep API subscription. Topstep currently charges $29/month for API access. This is a separate third-party charge paid to Topstep and is not included in your OpenFlow Automation subscription.

You should understand basic trading and risk concepts before using any automation. OpenFlow includes setup materials and education, but the automation is designed for traders who understand what they are trading and the risk involved.

How much trading capital do I need?

Capital requirements depend on your account type, platform, and the risk settings you choose. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. We discuss appropriate sizing during onboarding.

Can I change the risk settings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Risk per trade, maximum daily loss, and maximum daily trades are configurable within approved ranges. You are responsible for the settings you choose.

Does the bot run all day?

Accepted Answer

No. OpenFlow Automation trades only during its approved session window and shuts down automatically when the session ends or when a daily risk limit is reached.

Do I need to keep my computer on?

Hosting requirements depend on your setup. Some configurations run on a VPS or cloud environment so your personal computer does not need to stay on. We cover hosting options during setup.

Yes. Both Automation options ($250/mo member and $500/mo standalone) include setup resources, software updates, and support. OpenFlow Group members also get access to private training content and live calls where setup and strategy questions are covered.

How does OpenFlow member pricing work?

Joining the OpenFlow Group is a one-time payment of $1,250 and includes live trading calls Monday–Friday, full strategy education, private training content, and community access. Active members unlock Automation for $250/month — 50% off the standard $500/month standalone rate. The member rate is available exclusively to existing OpenFlow members.

Can I use a prop-firm account?

Many members run OpenFlow on prop-firm accounts. You are responsible for verifying that automation is permitted under your specific prop firm's rules before connecting an account.

What happens if I lose internet connection?

Accepted Answer

Software and connectivity can fail. Depending on your hosting setup, safeguards such as server-side risk limits may help, but outages, delays, and errors are possible. This is part of the risk of using any trading software.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time from your billing portal, and access continues through the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy for details.
